Kendell is a Charleston-based singer-songwriter blending folk-pop with elements of country and rock, grounded in introspective, emotionally driven songwriting. Her music transforms reflective poetry into songs that feel both intimate and universally relatable.
She didn’t grow up in music—and didn’t set out to become an artist.
It began at the piano, helping her son with lessons—then a guitar, then songwriting. What started as a small moment became something she couldn’t ignore.
Her music transforms reflective poetry into songs about faith, resilience, vulnerability, and the beauty of being human—carried by a quiet sense that we are here for something meaningful, and a belief that what we carry within us doesn’t end here… that, in some way, we are meant to return to sing.
Now performing throughout the Charleston area, Kendell shares original music in both acoustic and collaborative settings, continuing to build her artistry one song at a time.
